About the Program:
This internship provides students with a real-world opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the medical device sales industry. Interns will contribute meaningfully to the company’s operations while developing transferable skills applicable to various business settings. The program aligns with university schedules and offers clear learning objectives under the direct supervision of experienced professionals.
Learning Objectives:
- Gain practical experience in the medical device sales lifecycle.
- Develop prospecting and lead generation techniques through outbound calls and emails.
- Refine research and communication skills to identify customer needs and buying trends.
- Learn and utilize a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for data entry and management.
- Apply business knowledge to a fast-paced sales environment.
- Experience different facets of marketing within medical device sales (creative, research, strategy, sales, communication)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on assigned leads and prospects.
- Assist with outbound cold calls and email outreach to generate new sales opportunities.
- Qualify leads by identifying their needs and purchase interest.
- Prepare for prospect calls by gathering relevant company information.
- Enter and maintain accurate data within the CRM system.
- Participate in team meetings and learn from experienced sales representatives.
- Help develop marketing plan/strategy for upcoming campaigns.
- Work 20-40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (business or marketing preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficient in computer applications (including CRM software and Microsoft 365).
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for the medical device industry (a plus).

Supervision:
Interns will be directly supervised by our marketing coordinator who will provide ongoing feedback, guidance, training, and necessary resources to ensure their success. In addition to the marketing coordinator, you will work with business development reps, director of sales, and the two partners.
