Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Controller at Alta Medical Specialties, LLC in Salt Lake City, UT. The Controller will be responsible for daily financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. They will oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The Controller will collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial policies and procedures and provide strategic financial guidance to the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
  • Experience in the medical device industry or healthcare sector is a plus
